EL Theological College was established ten years ago, while international institute of Missions was established four years ago. In these short times great achievements have been made and all our initial goals have been achieved while the purpose of our existence has been registered and focused. We run holiness Bible Colleges with emphasis on heart purity, still with great ministry, spiritual life, academic excellence and success in ministerial targets. We are focused and not easily moved with demonic breeze social corruptions or the growth and fake advancements of different theological institutions in our days that produce preachers whose heads are touched without any impact to their hearts.

We are specifically called to train men and women who will turn sinners to righteousness, loose demon bound citizens and convert the wicked to the path way of eternity in heaven. Our students are holy, spiritual, careful, righteous and are still mindful of what the present age holds for the religious world, we groom students who are theologically high, academically rich, spiritually deep, charismatically great and magisterially successful. Our lecturers are proven authorities in the field of education. They are all spiritual men and women, bold in expression and sound in reasoning. I am very proud of them and always appreciate them.

EL Theological College has many extension campuses in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa.

Our colleges serve as the grooming centre and the base for e-training and re-grooming of church leaders, founder of Theological Institutions and gospel ministers who have secular academic background without proper grooming. We are mentor to mentors, teacher to teachers, Director to directors and leader of leaders.  We have extended our ministries to other countries of Africa. We have admitted and trained students from Republic of Kenya, Uganda, Republic of Cameroon, Sierra Leone and some students from Liberia, ths we stand as an International Bible college in West Africa.
Our Bible colleges are very famous and have received positive recommendations from within and without, to the extent that there are calls from different cities and nations to establish our Bible College in such areas. We have calls from Umuahia, Lagos, Uyo, Owerri, Orlu, Enugu, Lokoja, Benin Republic and calls from Ghana. We are heavenly conscious Bible colleges and focused in kingdom building instead of empire building that projects man and his ego. Our target and purpose are to promote and to protect “He who died on the Cross” and to influence men and women who shall know JESUS  and make Him known.

We appeal to pastors, church leaders and called men and women here to bring their untrained ministers to us for academic, theological, charismatic, spiritual and the best Bible based training with sound and uncompromised truth. International institute of Missions has declared scholarship (Tuition free) studies for lay workers in the churches who want to be equipped in order to serve their churches better in the areas of their interest, you are therefore invited to enroll today.

The works committed in our hands are many and we cannot do all alone without your support. We are therefore appealing to you to support this God’s project with us. Remember, God will not ask you what you did in your church but what you did for Him. Avoid all denominational traps and tribal sentiments in doing God’s work. Remember, your support to our college is a great support to God and to many denominations in Nigeria because of many students from different tribes in our school. We need larger land, gospel equipment, school buses, band set, building, cash for  gospel purchases or cash to support some poor students who cannot pay their fees. God called these poor students because of the rich Christians, why not train some of them. Remember, a giver never lack and a lackers never give. I am praying for you and for all around you.

I cannot finish this address without thanking and appreciating my wife, Rev, Dr. (Mrs.) Alzuriel Ononuju, my co-labourer in the gospel ministry who has always been on my side in the ministry. She is the president and founder of compassionate women orphanage Home Aba. My thanks also go to the chairman of the governing council Dr. S.M.C. Maduagwu and his wife, my thanks also go to the members of the governing council, members  of the admin council, the teaching staff and all the  students of EL Theological College and those of international Institute of Missions, may God bless you all in Jesus name.

Brethren, your presence here today is not an accident, there is purpose and I believe such purpose shall be achieved as Holy Ghost shall whisper to your hear. I wish you safe journey, that God who brought you here safely, shall take you back to your destination safely after this occasion in Jesus name.

BOOKSHOP DEPARTMENT:
We have bookshop known as bookshop department. Our bookstore sells theological books, motivational books, religious books and historical books, spiritual and general Christian literatures.

LIBRARY SERVICES:
We have library for wider reading of the students and non-students alike. Our library is built to help the student make research, study and to be academic oriented. Our library is free for all, though nobody is permitted to go with a book.

EXPLORING THE BIGGER ACADEMIC PROGRAMS OF ELTHECO BY REV. PROF. EMMA ONONUJU

Greetings of love in Jesus name. We have gathered here again to graduate and to matriculate our good students. We thank Gog for today’s good weather and appreciate you greatly for your presence.

EL Theological College is a registered Institution in Nigeria. It is empowered to train gospel ministers and to teach all theological courses. Since the birth of this Institution in 2001, it has graduated more than 2000 students who are today powerful men and women of God in Nigeria.
In admission, we have admitted many students from Nigeria, some from Cameroon, some from Sierra Leone and others from Kenya East Africa. Today we shall also graduate  some international students from Cameroon and Kenya. Many people may want to know, yes, our focus is to train ministers of the gospel who will hate nothing but sin, pursue nothing but heaven, live nothing but holily, capture nothing but charisma, boast of nothing but spirituality, possess nothing but academic life and become nothing but great gospel preachers.

It is not exaggeration to say that EL Theological College is the most spiritual, most academic, most charismatic, most theological and best Bible College in the state for now and we promise to maintain the ground as the Lord lives. We are aware and have observed with great dismay the fallen and apostate state of the church which have ruined the primary purpose of the Christian  ministers which presently have made many preachers to be deepes at the pulpit while churches nowadays are made to be commercial centres where  becomes the theme of the gospel, many false professors and non-academic leaders have risen to establish Bible colleges all to make money. EL Theological College is born to correct these errors and to restore the minister’s dignity, the church divine connection and original prestige of Gods people.

As a University lecturer, I have combined most of the courses from the secular universities that are very relevant to the gospel ministers and great theologians of our days, thus our Bible College has more courses than every other Bible college in the state and at the same time becomes the most ordered Bible College in this part of Nigeria. It is our great honour to have many great Nigerians in our midst. We thank God for Chief Onyema Ugochukwu who is our special guest of honour who has left all he supposed to do and where he supposed to go but decided to be with people of God in God’s own programme today. God will never fail to honour the person that honours him, so his presence here today is an honour to God our father. My thanks also go to Dr. & Mrs. S.M.C. Maduagwu the chairman of this occasion and the Gust Speaker Rev. Dr. Lawrence Chukwu who all are here today to honour God.

I did not speak comprehensive, if I fail to appreciate our new students and the out-going students, your contribution to this college is great and God shall never forget you. Yes, in even success, there are wise people behind it. Our lecturers are the wise people behind it. Our lecturers are the wise men behind the success of this college. It is my earnest desire to thank Rev. Dr. Perfect Emmereniri, Rev. Dr. Augustus Chinedum, Rev. Dr. Simon Umeh, Rev. Dr. Innocent Otuokali, Rev. Prosper Kargbo, Pastor Jonathan Ifenna, Pastor F.I. Atuzieogu, Miss Prudence Nnadozie and other great men and women whose contributions and efforts are making this college great. Worthy to mention is the contributions of Rev. Dr. Field Marshal Chikereuba and members of the governing council of this college. May God bless them richly in Jesus name.

After today’s convocation our school will vacate and will resume on 24th April 2007. Our office is still open to admit new students, therefore direct your called men and women to our college; we shall groom them, equip them and revive them for the masters’ use. It is not sinful to tell this congregation that every genuine work of God needs money to sponsor it. We therefore appeal for your support and help to carry this vision through. We need many things that will help us and keep us going and growing among which are:-

1. Land for our permanent site (not less than eight plots).
2. School library
3. School Van
4. Computers and office equipments
5. Cash to run different affairs of the college.
6. Duplicating and Dubbing machines
7. Gospel Band for our chapel services.
8. Public address system for chapel services.
9. Class furniture for the comfort of the students.
10. Constant prayers for our continuous survival.

Any of these problems which you can help us solve shall be appreciated and our God must surely bless you, because he says, give and ye shall receive. This is God’s work and God Himself knows I am not doing it to make name, therefore whatever you give to God today for the gospel sake, you shall receive 100 fold in Jesus name, Amen.

I also want to challenge the gospel lovers to be involved in God’s work. Let us think beyond denominations but lets think about heaven, God and the body of Christ that cannot be divided. You can still do God’s work here and God will bless you because of the heart through which you did the job. There are many students who are really called but are threatened to drop because of money, they can’t continue because they can’t train themselves. Why not pick one, two or some of them to train for God’s work. You can do this by paying their tuition fees which will attract God’s blessings to you. I have spoken much, I wish you safe journey back to your destinations. As this occasion will safely to your home – Amen. My special advice goes to our students who are graduating and matriculating today, even those who are not graduating nor matriculating. I charge you, not to join church breakers, pulpit defilers, position seekers, denominational splitters, cult and occult preachers, court goers and accusers of their fellow Christians who believe that the Holy Ghost cannot settle church matters or differences in the church unless the matters go to court and to be handled by an unbelieving judges and magistrates in the courts. This is a disgrace to the gospel and contrary to our sermons. I therefore charge you to represent this Bible College is secret, in open places, wherever man is found, in full presentation of the gospel, in charisma and in holiness.

I see it as a great omission if my wife’s efforts, advice and encouragement are not mentioned in line with the progress, growth and advancement of EL Theological College Nigeria. My wife Rev. Mrs. Alice Zuriel has been my helper, comforter and adviser in all my efforts in this college, may the almighty father bless her in JESUS name. My thanks go to my two kids Uriel and Ammiel for their patience, love and appreciation. May God continue to bless and keep them in Jesus name. I will not fail to thank the Rector, Registrar and the staff of EL Theological College Kaduna campus. Our work at Kaduna state is fast progressing and the Lord is doing wonders in our Bible College at Kaduna. Please help me pray for that branch because the hand of God is there also. Having said all these, I wish you journey mercies, may the angels of God take you safely to your different destinations at the end of this programme. We thank our great God who has really made it possible for us to be associated with a holiness and academic Bible College like EL Theological College. As Christians and as believers in Christ we are all rapture conscious and with great respect and fear of God. Here we are pouring out more significant programs of EL Theological College for the total understanding of all that may come across this.

1. EL Theological College is bent to greater studious habits and more academic excellence.
2. EL Theological College is bent to equip, groom and to educate greatly all students that were admitted.
3. EL Theological College is bent to make all students to be highly academic, highly theological and highly spiritual in order to be great ministers.
4. EL Theological College is bent to make every student to be practical, evangelistic, charismatic and always active in ministries.
5. EL Theological College is bent to make students to be ecclesiastically balanced, ministerially rich and socially bold and eloquent.
6. EL Theological College is bent to live godly and to make every student to achieve and to become whom God created him to become on earth and to achieve all that God created him to achieve as gospel ministers.
7. EL Theological College is bent to continue to be the best, the most academic, most spiritual and the most scholastic Bible College in the country.

It is my greatest joy to have you here today in a meeting like this. It is true that I appointed you for the work but God chose and ordained you earlier for the business, therefore, I want you to see yourself as co-workers in the Lord’s Vineyard. I welcome all of you who have forsaken one thing or the other to bew here today in order to have this meeting successful. I say may the almighty God bless and keep all of you in Jesus name I pray ….

There are few things I will like you to know about this college which I believe will form the foundation of your knowledge in what you are involved:-

1. THE HISTORY:  EL Theological College is a personal vision and personal burden in my heart which started in 1994 when God told me that He has called me and ordained me to train ministers and workers for the gospel, then I started praying for that without hall and  without staff. In 2001 God told me “It is now due, Go and start the school. I started by searching for the hall but February 2001, God gave me this place at 3 Umuagbai Road Aba. In April 9th 2001, I started the school without a student, without a board or governing council, without any staff and without any human supporter but with God. I stayed alone without any student for the first two weeks before I got one student from Rhema Tabernacle church Aba, who was on part time, but after that week I got three others, before the first four months of the College, I had about five students. Today, EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE is a great Institution. The first matriculation was held on April 14th 2002, while the first graduation was on 6th April 2003. We have more than ten (10) staff and have registered many students. God is also blessing us in different ways. EL Theological College is also abbreviated as ELTHECO.
2. SPONSORSHIP: I am sponsoring the college alone and God has been providing and taking care of the college and the entire studies. We are on rent, this building is not our own but the creator is on our side. The Lord who owns this Institution is leading the College.
3. STUDENTS AND ACADEMIC AFFAIRS: EL Theological College is an Inter-denomination Bible College and has students from more than fifteen (15) different churches and our lecturers are from different churches also. Our academic standard is very high. EL Theological College is presently the deepest, most spiritual, most academic and the best Bible College in Abia State, and this is generally known by the churches in Abia and by other Bible Colleges.
4. ACCREDITATION AND REGISTRATION: EL Theological College is registered and incorporated in Nigeria as a Christian Institution in Aba, affiliated and working with some accredited Institutions abroad and in Nigeria.
5. PURPOSE OF THE COUNCIL:  The governing council stands as the father of this Institution and has right to advise, direct, correct, suggest, build, recommend, plan and do others things necessary to make the college survive and succeed. The Governing council will be meeting to discuss on graduation, matriculation, management programmes and issues relating to the college.
6. FORTH-COMING GRADUATION:  The next graduation of this College will be second or third of March 2004 and we hope to conduct that at Umuagbai Secondary School because of great number of people we are expecting. It is mandatory for every board member to be around; because the college is your own and the people coming are your visitors hence it is wrong to travel after inviting people for a programme.
7. DUTIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNING COUNCIL DURING GRADUATIONS:  In this and in every graduation of this college, every member of this governing council will recommend two, three or more people for the award of honorary Doctorate Degree or meritorious award and the names of such people will reach our office before two weeks from now, to help us compile their names. Please do this, hence the whole works shall not be done by the president alone but by all of us. You are to advise and  direct where necessary to make the graduation successful.
8. AIMS OF THIS COLLEGE:  EL Theological College is purely for the training, equipping and educating the ministers, Church workers and Church officers. It is built to restore the lost glory of the church, the pulpit and to restore the dignity of the entire Christian community, which God is helping us to achieve.
9. APPEAL TO THE  GOVERNING COUNCIL:  I appeal to you all to help with all at your reach to build this Institution, bring our your idea, vision, words, recommendation and  your personality to build this Institution and to see this Institution as one of your own programmes, therefore pray for it, visit it, respond when meetings are called, advise where necessary and do all that God will want you to do. This is your own College and no more theirs but yours. Remember to recommend good individuals you feel are qualified for the award of honorary Doctorate Degree and our meritorious awards in the soon coming graduation. Recommend students and all who want to know more to this College.
10. SUMMARY: Brethren, you are today to share my vision, burden and mission of building this institution. Your appointment is not a mistake, neither an accident, but God directed me to appoint you and I did not and cannot regret appointing you. This College is ours, let us join hands together to build it.

I am hoping forward to seeing your future efforts, closeness, support, prayers and physical presence in this College and things related to it. May the almighty God interpret this address and give you burden and wisdom to work with me in this College.

STUDENTS AND THEIR PIETY
EL Theological College is not only about books but also about man. EL Theological College is highly mindful about man, about soul, about health, about life, about spirit, about heaven and about eternity, thus the piety, spirituality and the devotion of man is an important issue of concern. Eltheco believes and teaches that the gospel ministers must be too spiritual, two committed, too pious and too holy in order to meet the demand of God in gospel ministry. How can the students be holy and maintain pious life?

1. Must be prayerful, Student prayer habit as a gospel minister should not be debatable, nor be argued. Every gospel minister must be prayerful, dedicated and devoted to the course of Christ and all events of Calvary.
2. Every gospel minister, especially those trained by EL Theological College must be closer to God, seek the face of God, work for God, walk with God, abide in divine principles and obey the voice of God in all things.
3. Gospel ministers must unavoidably be too close to the Bible, obey the voice of the Holy Spirit, be very sensitive to the truth with all humility and always agree to go extra mile according to God’s directives and leadership to his soul.
4. To maintain high spirituality and deep piety, students trained by EL Theological College must always consider their ways, check themselves, confess where necessary and always live the life void of offence towards God and towards man.
5. True man of God always seeks the face of God, fast, pray, search self and steadily makes all wrongs to be right to avoid sudden death or unprepared rapture.

REVEALING THE VISION AND THE MISSION OF ELTHECO TO THE COUNCIL BY REV. PROF. EMMA ONONUJU.

I welcome all of you to this meeting which I organized. The title of today’s meeting is inaugural meeting because this is a new Board while some of you are new to this meeting. You are specifically invited to contribute your idea, vision, knowledge and your ministry to the growth and develop of EL Theological College in Nigeria.

1. About EL Theological College:  EL Theological College was established on 9th April, 2001 without a student, without a lecturer and without any board member but with Jesus alone. God used me to establish this Bible College without the aid of anybody or any church. It is an inter-denominational Bible College. Since its inception, it has admitted Christians from different denominations and has held graduation and matriculations.
2. Courses in Our College:  We have more courses than every Bible College in Abia State, to the extent that our Diploma students can compete with some Reverend Doctors in the State. Our Diploma students cove more than 100 courses while the Bachelor students also cover or study over 200 courses before their graduation.

FOCUS
The focus of EL Theological College is to bring sanity, purity and sanctity at the pulpits and in the church at large. The ministerial and academic missions of EL Theological College stands as follows:-

1. To bring and to restore sanity, purity and sanctity in the church through the initial impartations of such spiritual ingredients to the students who shall pastor the churches and transfer the same to their members.
2. To make the church to become what God called it to become and to represent Jesus both in public and in private places and  these are done through adequate training and comprehensive equipments to the students who are the pastors that shall teach, lead and help the church members become what God originally called them to become in life.
3. To heal the church and to restore the church from its backslidden state presently and this is done through restoring, healing, reactivating and reviving the EL Theological College students who shall carry the same experiences to their various churches and reactivate, revive, restore and heal their members alike which shall make the church to become Christ-like people.
4. To make the church to be lively, evangelistically and missionary oriented by going into the  world to preach the gospel, instead of the present experience of the world coming into the church to kill it, thus the churches are presently worldly because the church failed to go into the, thus the world came into the church. This correction can only be possible through adequate training to our students who shall correct these in the churches.
5. Functions:  We prepare called men and women, train national and international students to full time, part-time and on correspondent studies. We have another lower Board in the school known as the Admin. Council that are made up of the lecturers. We have lecturers who are competent, though we need more hands especially those we train in our College hence we discover and approved them as more competent than others.
6. Meeting Periods:  This Board is billed to be meeting four times a year in the official meetings but may meet as often as required in emergency meetings. We have frequent meetings during the periods of graduation, matriculation or special awards of the year. Presently, we are in that season which may demand our frequent meetings.
7. Duties of the Governing Council:  If we shall use the Church terminology, the Governing Council is the Board of presiding elders. The Governing Council works in close relationship with the president in agreement with the President and act as the direct Deputy of the President. Hence the Board is not an individual, the Board is empowered, delegated and authorized to implement, rule and direct the affairs of the College and all about its growth. Other duties of the Council include:-
8. Establish and building of the College.
9. To recommend and approve candidates for honorary awards.
10. To manage the general affairs of the College.
11. To approve candidates for the office of the Rector, Dean of Studies and Registrar by the recommendations of the President.
12. To plan and execute issues in relation to graduation, matriculation and special awards.
13. To know, plan and carry on the goals of the college to the end and to fulfill the college goals.
14. The Governing Council will support the president to fulfill the objectives of the College.
15. The Governing Council will meet as duty demands to discuss affairs or matters affecting the College either nationally or internationally.
16. The Governing Council with the leadership of the President will appoint any member to help the president to pursue issues, travel, investigate or claim anything in the name of the College.
17. The Governing Council may set committees to tackle matters either in the government, church or in the society for the effective growth of the College.

• Forth Coming Graduation:  Our graduation will be coming up very soon. We fix the date for 24th March 2007, while 1st – 14th March is our school of ministry. 22nd March is the commissioning and ordination of ministers. There are many things we need to actualize a successful graduation as I listed them below:-
• We need big hall for the graduation and matriculation.
• We need the crowd to attend the programme.
• We need qualified man and women for the awards and we need your recommendations.
• We need ideas to carry and actualize the graduation, therefore, there is need for frequent meetings these days to meet the demands.

OUR VISION FOR THE STUDENTS

1. Our vision for the students is to make our students to truly be holy, righteous and clean.
2. We want our students to be highly trained theologically, ministerially and properly trained academically in order to face and to correct heresies that have filled churches nowadays.
3. We want our students to be well furnished, properly equipped, deeply filled with the Holy Spirit and steadily live for Christ.
4. Our vision is to make the best students, best ministers, best theologians and the best followers of Jesus everywhere.
5. Our vision is to train those that shall lead the church, shepherd the sheep, win the sinners and steadily evangelize the world.

 

OUR VISION FOR EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE.

1. Bo run a sound, holy, faithful, pure and sincere Bible College without deceit and without hypocrisy but that which shall represent and reflect the body of Christ.
2. To build a Bible College that shall train men and women on inter-denominational level, project only but the truth and  focusing heaven in all our businesses.
3. Build a strong theological College that shall have campuses in other states of Nigeria and in other parts of the world.
4. Establish the Bible College that shall be the best, most theological, most spiritual, most academic, most evangelistic, most practical and the most attractive theological institution in Nigeria.

 

OUR NEEDS:
We have many needs to keep the College growing  and surviving. I want to mention but few even though there are many of them as our needs:-

1. We need land for a permanent of our College.
2. We need gospel equipments for our chapel services.
3. We need white chairs in the school.
4. We need more advert to make the College growing and going.
5. We need the ideas, thoughts and views of the Governing Council to actualize our goals.

 

APPRECIATION:
I thank all of you who are here today for this meeting. I encourage you to bring out our ideas, programme and vision to build EL Theological College. You are selected because I know you are qualified for the job, just take this Bible College as yours, build it, contribute, direct students and do all at your reach to ensure its growth, survival and expansion.

ELTHECO STUDENTS AND RESEARCH METHODOLOGY.
We are in the world of science and technology, world of power and vision, world of religion and cultural exhibitions, world of learning and studying, world of reading and researching, world of discovery and invention and the world of knowledge and  education. EL Theological College having known all these is not following behind but runs to be at the fore front and becomes the best, the first and the leader with this truth the students of EL Theological College is  built, trained and equipped to meet up with the present feature of things and meeting up with the growing society. How can all these be possible with the Eltheco students.

1. Students are made to understand importance of library and taught on how to research in library and how to research in and equip every student with research methodology.
2. Students of EL Theological College are fashioned in a condition that makes them to catch their course of studies, understand how to deal with difficult matters, understand all subject matters and follow up with necessary issues.
3. Exposing the students to controversial issues, difficult matters and Confucius topics is among the grooming methods that EL Theological College uses to equip the students and to make the students become experts and authorities in all difficult matters.
4. EL Theological College deals with the issues of great interest to the students and helps the students to master such at ease and also lead them to the library master such at ease and also lead them to the library to read and to research about such issue of great interest.
5. Because EL Theological College has the vision to make her students to become experts, academic scholastic and to become authorities, all strange ideas, heresies and occult ideas are treated and students personally sent to research and to come out with their own findings.
6. Researching, Reading and studying are steady strategies to equip and to solidify the students of EL Theological College by the College authority in order for the students to become whom God called them to become and to make them greatly research oriented gospel ministers.

The above ideas are what EL Theological College uses as her strategies to solidify the students knowledge and understanding through library research works.

4. Called to become those that can build the church.
5. Called to become the example to others.
6. Available to bring Biblical ministries.
7. Created to impact spiritual life to pastors.

9. Called to restore the ministers integrity and reputation that were marred through the unfaithful lives of some untrained pastors.
10. Born to populate heaven and make numerous convert for Christ.
11. Born to correct the evils, unrighteousness, falsehood and many unbiblical practices we see today on the pulpit among the pastors.
12. Born to correct the mis-leading teachings, false prophecies and fake miracles we see today in the churches.

El Group of Theological Institution is the name or title that kept all theological colleges established by Rev. Prof. Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Alice Zuriel. There are six theological Institutions operating in EL Group of Theological Institution under the leadership, the control and supervision of Rev. Prof. Emma Ononuju which are all on great influence in our society.

As the best and most practical Bible College in Abia State, EL Emancipation Ministry is a ministerial arm of EL Theological College as EL Theological College is also the educational arm of EL Emancipation ministry. STUDIES ON CHARISMA AND DEMONOLOGY.
Charisma and Demonology is a faculty attached to Eltheco with great emphasis on faith, spiritual gifts, deliverances, services, Ministries, breaking of curses and covenant. Courses offered in the college of charisma are quite different from what are obtainable in other Bible colleges in Africa.

In this college we have school called SCHOOL OF DEMONOLOGY, which deals totally on how to defeat demon possessed, demon depressed, Demon initiated and the oppressed person. It goes further to deal on how to know a cursed person, cured land and cursed properties, the final stage is how to give total deliverance to the persons, the land and the properties. This is a different school altogether with a different registration, admitting ministers from churches, lay workers in the churches even students from other Bible Colleges. MY SECOND TRIP TO THEOLOGICAL STUDIES BY PASTOR JOSEPH NDUKWE.

EL Theological College is not my first Bibl College. I have studied in this Bible College within a stipulated period and discover that there are many Bible Colleges all over the town but EL Theological College beats them all. Try and see and you will be convinced. I finished my first diploma studies elsewhere before coming to Eltheco Aba to repeat diploma. I have studied in some other Bible College in Nigeria and have compared it to EL Theological College. If you would enroll in EL Theological College, you will discover that this school remains the best. I am not speaking from a gaze work but statistically the different is clear. I want to clarify my claim for proper understanding.

1. What other Bible College hold:

Many Bible College exist of course. But what do they have? This question is a yoke to many Bible Colleges and a challenge to many of them who are deceiving and interwoven the word of God only to achieve their selfish aims. They lack that quality and spirit filled life that will enable them to impact the knowledge of God’s words into their subjects. I want to ensure that many of these Bible Colleges are used for money making venture, teaching the students what they themselves now practice. God will judge them. EL Theological College has aim of equipping the saints, grooming the preachers and building the churches.

1. What EL Theological College holds:

I want to be very specific here. If you doubt it, just come around to EL Theological College every activity day because every activity speaks for itself. Whatever you want, perhaps the life of holiness, sanctification and justification not theoretically studied but with practical demonstrations as our Lord taught in Bible. Also the College has students of high potentials who are going to reform the pulpit. EL Theological College is born to train up ministers for the end time assignment and  to represent God properly in their respective areas of operations.

1. THE SPIRITUAL LIFE IN EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE.

I want to state categorically that spiritual life has been great emphasis of this Bible College. I am convinced that it is the foundation of this College. Any lecturer who teaches without laying more emphasis on living a spiritual life has not began his/her lecture. EL Theological College doesn’t focus on teaching spiritual life theoretically but basically on practical aspect to every member of Eltheco family churches. I have never heard about any student of this Bible College messing up himself outside or caught in diabolical acts. It has been proved beyond every visible reason that ministers trained by EL Theological College are in more demand by churches than ministers trained in other Bible Colleges.

1. Staff Conduct:

The staff conduct of this great College is not in question. Why because they practice what they teach the students. They are humble, respectful, obedient to the higher authority of the school. They are competent in handling lectures. They don’t compromise their prestige and they are epitome of the truth like the president whom they follow.

1. School Environment and Monetary Issues:

The school environment is the best and most conducive place for learning. The school has a large open hall for academic students. It is one of the best place to read books and also make a research at the college library without any distraction. The school compound is always tidy and noiseless. Monetary issues in Eltheco seems to be more mild than in every other Bible colleges I have met. The school does not base on financial management, they encourage the students to continue their studies by given the little amount of fee to pay to enable the students cope with things and by the end of their studies they could be able to defend their certificates in the field as people who passed through theological training. This is wonderful, it doesn’t mean that every student is on scholarship but the emphasis is not on money.

1. The School President:

The President of this great school is an academician, a lecturer in the secular university, a writer of many books and a holiness advocate of this dispensation. This man of God has been mandated  by God to prepare ministers for the end-time harvest and to liberate the oppressed with revival anointing preaching and power of the Holy Spirit to deliver, heal and liberate the oppressed. He co-ordinates and handles the affairs of the school properly. He handles lectures also in the college. He is presently pregnant looking for a place to deliver. He is a responsible man of the family. I am a final year student, graduating this year and thank God for this College authority who allowed me to air out my view nd observations before leaving this College.

MY BENEFITS AS A STUDENT OF EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE ABA BY EVANG. EVELYN OBI.

EL Theological College as the name implies is God’s own college mapped out for ministers who are heaven conscious and totally committed to God. It is a Bible College which does not substitute academic knowledge for the rhema of  God rather it equips us with the knowledge we need to rightly divide the word of God.

Here sin is called sin and not glorified as new liberating life style. As a student of this great college. I have been equipped with the basic rules by which the Bible is to be studied and it’s meaning understood and how these rules could be applied to certain problems in the book of life (Bible), because the only way to avoid error is to present the truth or fact, no wonder St. Paul told Timothy to study in order to show himself approved. In this college, it is being inculcated in us, that the church is a living organism and not a dead organization and since we are called to share the knowledge of Good and God is the source of all knowledge and wisdom; we should be informed and  knowledgable as to  be able to stand against heretic teachings and then defend our faith rather than grope in ignorance.

Learning in EL Theological College has given me the courage of confidence in my ministry as an evangelist and has exposed me to grounds, which were unknown to me. Courses offered here far exceed what is obtainable in other Bible Colleges in Aba. If I say so and these courses seek to enhance our efficiency, spiritually, productivity and confidence. More so they expose us to potentials, yet undeveloped and untapped and I have benefited immensely from this Bible College since I enrolled as a Diploma Student. The president of this school Prof. Ononuju is an anointed man of God, as well as a man well informed in regards to academics who has always made it a point of  duty to let the students know the importance  and benefits of maintaining chastity and moral purity, stressing that maturity prepares us for the ministry and that the intensity of our holiness in Christ is the force and that always lifts up our prayers to God. While education on it’s part, helps us to correct the in balances in the churches and be able to pastor as the administration of the present day church is becoming complex.

The teachers in this college are all God fearing, they are dedicated and understanding and as such influence the students way of life in terms of humility, love and spirituality. My life has completely changed since I came to this college. I have understood many things I did not know, I have known the value of spirituality and the cost of education in this present generation. This Bible College stands as a pool of cleansing and river of purification. The emphasis is not only on academic but also on spirituality. I thank God, I was not deceived to join other Bible Colleges. I thank God for my Pastor, who recommended, directed and personally brought me to this Bible College. I now believe that my Pastor as a father to me saw great things in this Bible College before bringing me to it. I can testify that through my changed life and exemplary Christian living that two other members of my church have joined this school (Eltheco) while others are preparing to join me in this Bible College. I am sure I am not the only student that have the testimony of highest spiritual life and greatest academic input received in EL Theological College but almost every student in this College is saying the same. My eyes have opened and my knowledge has been broadened. I thank God for the father, the founder and the  president of EL Theological College Rev. Prof. Emma Ononuju who has taken such great pain to establish such Bible College in a time like this without fear and doubt. EL Theological College is both a church, a family, society of love and friendship.

The school authorities and the students are one big family in that, the atmosphere is void of hatred or intimidation and I believe this has a role to play in the lives of students when they go out to interact with the outside world. This school majors well in ministerial excellence and this is of great benefit to students as a whole; through practical we have been able to excel where others fail, understanding the rudiments of being ministers and holding our aim tenaciously in order to fulfill our obligations as ministers. From every natural  and spiritual perspective I believe that EL Theological College is a school in it’s pure undiluted form, because it is evident in the scriptures that perfection in the ways of the Lord is the basis by which God will give his angels charge over one.

 

ACADEMIC AND SPIRITUAL LIFE IN EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE BY JACOB OPARA.

This school is indeed, the centre for academic and spiritual excellence. I discovered this when I came here for my Bachelor in Theology. Through the number of courses introduced to me, I regretted doing my diploma else where because the number of courses done by  diploma students here are more in number than those done in doctorate degrees of some other Bible Colleges. I thank God, I discovered this unique college because I have benefited a lot since I came here both academically and spiritually. There are also testimonies from other students of this school of what the Lord is doing in their lives through this schoo spiritually and academically. This has given increase of more new students into this college, both in diploma, Bachelor and in postgraduate departments. I also discovered that some Bible College leaders come here for their greater equipments.

The chapel service of this school is wonderful; it is one of the avenues through which the president of this unique college and other memn of God minister to the students, to build them spiritually and build their characters a becometh ministers of the gospel. The improved spiritual lives of the students are important testimonies  , these are achieved through various spiritual building programmes of this college, for instance, the unique mission week of this college that comes up two times every year is always wonderful. This programme attracts many people within and outside this city and many of them have given testimonies of the riches of the programme.

On the academic side of this college, I can say that God raised this college to brush and prepare men of God academically so that they can measure up with other learned men in the society and to correct the erroneous thoughts of some individuals who look down on men of God as poorly educated people. This  college emphasizes much on holiness in the life of men of God, as people whose lives should be worthy of emulation as Paul puts it 1st Corinthians 11:1 “be ye holy for I, the Lord am holy”. Infact, God raised this college to correct many theological errors of these last days, and all “It doesn’t matter minister of our time”. This college believes and teaches that holiness must be inward and outward of the preacher 2 Cor. 7:1.

On the quality of courses in this college, I refer to Nathaniel “Come and see”, for they say “seeing as believing”. This college formerly covers over 95 courses in diploma alone, likewise in bachelor, ranging from circular  and theological courses. Some of the diploma courses of this college are obtainable as postgraduate courses in some colleges. You can come and confirm these testimonies by yourself. It is not a fabrication to say that anyone who graduated with Bachelor in this College has equally  finished or done his bachelor in secular university perhaps unknown to him. Most  of the courses done in this Bible College are the same done in secular universities. The President of EL Theological College is not only a wonderful lecturer but also an authority as he is fondly called  by secular university students. Theological College students and other lecturers from both secular and sacred institutions. I summarize by saying that Eltheco is not only for learning but also centre for healing, salvation and freedom.

WHY I CHOSE TO STUDY IN EL THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE BY PASTOR JONATHAN IFENNA.

To make choice is natural and in every choice there must be things of great interest or attraction. There are many Bible Colleges in Aba especially those established before EL Theological College, it is true that Eltheco is a new Bible College but it’s vision, performances, academic input, spiritual life and general emphasis are of great help to any person who wants to be useful to God, to his church, to his family and to the society at large. I entered this Bible College two years ago but discovered that I can compete with those who have studied for over six years in some other Bible Colleges. I can now continue my studies in this college and to obtain every necessary information needed for the ministry in this dispensation. I therefore listed my reason under for proper understanding. From my information research by spiritual, academic and feasibility studies done and tested, I discover unique qualities that made EL Theological College differed among other equals

1. The college’s Biblical principles, conduct, discipline and discipleship in EL Theological College are second to none.
2. The school’s position is within the heart of Aba city with many accessible roads linkage, coupled with its nearness to my residence or location.
3. Legitimately, EL Theological College is an academic and spiritual institution  registered for training of ministers, their ordination, commission and other sacred obligations (eg wedding), unlike many other Bible Colleges in Nigeria, operating illegally and with fake certificates
4. Again I discover that while so many Bible Colleges offer spitted Sunday School manuals as courses which are evidences of quackery and ignorance, courses at EL Theological College are full and relatively to faculty of Humanity in secular institutions.
5. I chose to be a student in this college because this college is over loaded with courses, outruns most Bible colleges, curriculum with the diploma students are not less than eighty courses and Degree students on minimum of one hundred and sixty courses.
6. I chose EL Theological College as my theological school because from its morning devotion to lecture classes, it is founded upon the four square gospel of the scripture, preparing holy man of God for heavenly mindedness. Hence against the layman’s notice that Bible colleges train up deceits, heretic and selfish ministers.
7.  The life of the president of the college, his academic attainment and his vision in both sacred and secular worlds are of great inspiration to students. You can enquire I am always challenged by his life and credentials.
8. Through his status, genuine transcripts are prepared for students who desires to go higher education from the Bible college.
9. The president as an academic guru and authority, introduces courses (for the best information in the secular and sacred relevance, equipping his students for great ministerial excellence. I am one of the beneficiaries of his work.
10. The school’s programme on missions and practical field ministries prepares students to realms of spiritual expositions and experiences required to excel. These have attracted not only me but other students to continue with this knowledge.
11. It has qualified , intelligence, experienced but diligent lecturers and supervisors of high integrity. These are the things  that made me chose Eltheco  as my Bible College.
12.  The Lectures lives of sacrifice, love, counseling, creativeness and optimism are encouraging and aspiring to students of high vision in the Bible.
13. The school life both to the students and lectures is balanced with Christ life. Any bad egg is expelled out of the school without compromise. Rare in many Bible Colleges of this era.
14. Literacy rate, that some abstract illiterates I know too well have now been transformed to educational elites have put me on more reasons to study in this college. Quote “anything thinkable is achievable within it”.
15. Socially, the height of rapport within the student’s union, the president and the entire staff has made us a united family as in the early church after Pentecostal.

17. Finally its offer from Diploma till Doctorate degrees arouse me for making choice with it. Behold, until you go to where God sends you, you will ever remain a struggler another man’s vineyard. I want to summarize by saying that EL Theological College is both spiritual  houses for the healing of the sick soul and academic house for the  healing of the blind eyes. Like every other students, there are many reasons EL Theological College should be chosen as the best Bible college of this generation. My spiritual life has been transformed and my academic level has increased while my personal thoughts have grown and properly developed. I thank God for bringing me to EL Theological College.

I welcome  all of you to this epoch-making event of our matriculation & convocation ceremony of the Aba campus of EL Theological College Nigeria. Today we have gathered to witness the matriculation and convocation of our Diploma and Bachelor degree students as well as to give honour to whom honour is due.
EL Theological College is an inter-denominational Bible College, fully established for the training of the pastors, apostles, evangelists, missionaries, prophets, teachers, deacons and other church workers for the growth of Christianity and conversion of souls. It is the direct and personal vision of Rev. Prof. Emma Ononuju, the Director and founder of both El Emancipation Ministry and EL Theological College. Prof. Emma Ononuju founded a ministry in 1982 with the  name, Redemption Campaigners Ministry at Port Harcourt Rivers Sate.. The  name was later changed to El Emancipation Ministry at Aba, Abia State in 1994. The ministry is an outreach arm commissioned to preach in existing churches, planting of churches, crusades preaching, breaking of evil covenants and general deliverance services. It is not a church but a ministry to reach the unreached in our society.

EL Theological College is the institution and the educational arm of EL Emancipation Ministry. It was officially inaugurated on 9th April, 2001 at No. 3 Umuagbai Road Aba. Eltheco is an academic, spiritual and charismatic institution established to equip the saints for the task ahead. Eltheco runs trimester programmes for the undergraduates and semester programmes for the post graduates. Doubtlessly, EL Theological College is the best Bible College in the country and also stands as the most academic, most studious, most spiritual and the most evangelistic theological Institution in this country. Calvary greetings of love to you all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. My greatest appreciation  goes to the Almighty God for sustaining us in the land of the living, even to have gathered us here today in this unique and epoch making event. EL Theological College Nigeria as an organization, an academic institution which combines secular and sacred courses from both Biblical, theological and  biographical students having up to thirteen (13) different departments with over 1,600 courses. This truth is based  on the academic level of the vision bearer who is an academic guru, who has the opportunities of lecturing in both secular and sacred institutions. God has so much equipped him to have both the divine and natural abilities to function and accelerate to such zenith and heights in the creation of those courses. It is therefore of no exaggeration to say that EL Theological College is the most academic Bible College, most spiritual and most charismatic Bible College in the state and has the highest number of courses in Nigeria.
